The original video, for anyone who hasn’t seen it:
And the relevant album cover:
Sessler was a teenager when “We’re Not Gonna Take It” it was on the charts. Probably had MTV so he saw the video.
No fuckin’ idea how he thought it was in support of “traditional American values.”
Never not reblog. Dee Snider is iconic and queer as fuck for a cishet man.

No one disrespects my man Dee in this house.
Never forget when he sat in front of a congressional hearing about Lewd Music Corrupting the Youth and completely shut that shit down in the most professional manner that no member of that committee expected from a hair metal musician. They thought they’d get easy points off of a dumb metalhead and this man not only knew exactly what the fuck he was talking about, he tore their arguments apart.

There’s a stereotype that USAmericans tolerate very long car rides.
There’s a stereotype that USAmericans tolerate very long car rides.
USAmericans, can you easily tolerate driving in a car for an hour?
No, usually I cannot tolerate driving at all
No, usually I can only tolerate 5-15 minutes

Yes, but usually around 1 hour it stops being tolerable
Yes, but usually around 1.5 hours it stops being tolerable
Yes, and it usually takes 2 hours or more to stop being tolerable

Not USAmerican
op I think you may have wildly underestimated american’s car tolerance
Oh my god the AFFRONTED face I made at the first poll.
I have driven three hours just for good barbecue. It was nothing. Come on.
Gods damn, my COMMUTE is in the 30-45 minute range. Two hours is the point that I start to actually consider it a Distance.
5 hours is “I really care about this, so I’m willing to make the trip.” 7 hours is getting into “please, no more” territory, and it’s only doable with a couple longish breaks in the middle.
And I’m on the East Coast, where states are small and close together. In Texas, you can drive for 8 hours and still be in Texas.

Kind of a milf. Reblog.
call it a milf. if it is then im…please no
this is (assuming these are all standard 1MB ps1 memory cards and uniform distribution) NOT 64 of god’s own Megabytes, but in FACT about 475MB, or almost half a gig. If they were standard ps2 memory cards (8MB each) this would be about 3.5 gigs, or about enough space to store Risk of Rain 2 and Signalis!
PS1 memory cards aren’t one megabyte. They’re one megabit. Thus, 128 kilobytes each.
things are starting to heat up in the data storage fandom
That really is my fandom, isn’t it? Shit, I’ve even been to cons for it!
WAIT.
THERE ARE CONS FOR OLD TECH?????
WHERE THE FUCKENING DO I FIND THIS HOLY SHIT I NEED TO GO BROKE ON THIS
